Touch Literacy, For Birthing Partners, November
In this edition of Touch Literacy, Marlee will be creating a space to explore connection and supportive touch throughout pregnancy and labour.
Whether you’re partners, soon-to-be parents, or chosen support persons, this workshop offers practical ways to connect through touch, to ease pregnancy discomforts, deepen your bond, and support each other through the birthing process.
In a small group, you’ll explore grounding, intuitive techniques that can relieve tension and discomfort during pregnancy, as well as ways to work together during labour. There will be space to practice, ask questions, and build confidence in offering care through your hands and presence.
This isn’t about doing it perfectly. It’s about listening, softening, and learning how to meet each moment with intention, care, and connection, with your hands, your bodies, and your shared experience.
All couples and levels of experience are welcome.
Date: Sunday, November 30th
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Where: Bodyworks, 359 St Georges Road, Fitzroy North
