FAQs

While traditional massage often focuses on muscles and relaxation, our approach integrates education, emotional awareness, somatic exploration, and body literacy. The work can be deeply therapeutic, addressing both physical and emotional layers, especially for women and gender-diverse people navigating embodiment in complex ways.

This work supports a wide range of experiences, including menstrual pain, prolapse, pelvic tension, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, birth trauma, scar tissue healing, chronic pain, emotional disconnection from the body, and trauma. It also creates space for healing from mental health challenges, such as anxiety or depression, which can often be linked to physical and emotional stress. Each session is a deeply personal journey, tailored to your unique body and story, offering a safe space for physical, emotional, and mental healing.

Yes. Our work is trauma-aware, deeply respectful, and grounded in clear communication and consent. We create a safe space for exploring stories that may have been challenging, confusing, or painful. Every session is tailored to your needs, and we work within your boundaries, whether that’s through touch, conversation, or a combination of both. You remain in control throughout, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Internal pelvic release work is a gentle, hands-on therapy that supports the soft tissues, muscles, fascia, and ligaments within the pelvis. These tissues support and stabilize the organs of the pelvic bowl, and like any area of the body, they can store tension from posture, injury, birth, surgery, trauma, or emotion.

Through slow, consent-based touch, often via the back wall of the vagina, tension is invited to release, creating space, ease, and reconnection. The work honours the body’s innate ability to transform and soften, supporting healing and reconnection from within.

It’s for anyone experiencing tension, discomfort, emotional holding, or those looking to connect more deeply with this intimate part of their body. Many clients seek this work for menstrual pain, birth preparation, postpartum healing, sexual trauma recovery, injury healing, or body awareness.

The session begins with a thorough conversation to discuss your needs, boundaries, and consent. We begin the bodywork externally, exploring any obvious imbalances and allowing your body to settle and ground. When (and if) you feel safe and ready, we proceed to the internal space slowly, with ongoing communication. The work follows your pace and comfort, allowing space for rest, integration, or emotion as needed. Nothing happens without your explicit, ongoing consent.

The intention of this work is to create safety and ease, not pain. Some areas may feel tender, and the intensity of the release can vary, but the touch is always gentle and respectful. You remain in control at all times, and the session can pause or stop whenever you wish.

This work is for anyone seeking a deeper connection with their pelvic space. You might be preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, experiencing pelvic pain, tension, menstrual imbalances, healing from trauma, or living with a prolapse.

Our bodies hold so much, physically and emotionally. Pelvic release work invites softness, space, and reconnection. In a world where we’re rarely taught about the power and potential of our womb, cervix, and vagina, this work is a loving reclamation.

Not at all. You’re welcome exactly as you are. There’s no need for a referral or formal diagnosis, just a willingness to connect with your body.

Yes, absolutely. We offer pregnancy-safe treatments designed to support your body and growing baby. Positioning, pressure, and pacing are adjusted for each trimester to ensure comfort and safety.

You’re welcome to book in as soon as you feel ready. Some people come within weeks postpartum, while others may wait months or even years. We’ll adapt our approach depending on whether you’ve had a vaginal or surgical birth and what kind of support you need.

Yes, you are welcome in all phases of your cycle. For general bodywork, we’ll work with what feels supportive on the day, and you can always adjust the focus of the session based on how you feel.

For internal pelvic release work, it’s generally recommended to schedule a session when you’re not actively bleeding, as many women feel more sensitive or tender during this time. However, if your bleeding is light or near the end of your cycle, a session can still be beneficial. We’ll always discuss what feels best for you and tailor the session to your needs.
